The WYD Academy

Introduction

The WYD Academy is a community-driven system designed to guide and support new players in WYD International. It consists of several Academies, each led by experienced Game Coaches (Operators) who mentor beginners. Academies are divided by region or language to help players learn in their preferred language and community.

How to Join

Any player may join the Academy of their region or preferred language by requesting recruitment from a Game Coach.

Game Coaches are usually available in Armia CH1 or Armia CH2 during their scheduled shift times.

Shift Times: To be determined and announced soon

  1. Locate a Game Coach of your Academy during their shift.
  2. Ask to be recruited into their Academy.
  3. Once accepted, you’ll become part of that Academy and can enjoy all its benefits.

Graduation Rewards

When a GOD character reaches Level 400, they will receive 1 Ideal Stone to ascend into Celestial.

Eligibility: The character must belong to one of the two official Academies and the account must be registered on or after October 2025.

How rewards are delivered: Graduation rewards are handed manually by the GMs. Game Coaches must create a support ticket on Discord and request the reward for players who have graduated to GOD Lv. 400.

Community Impact

The WYD Academy helps make WYD International welcoming for new players through mentorship, structured learning, and active community involvement—strengthening the player base and long-term engagement.

What is a Game Coach?

A Game Coach is a selected player who leads, mentors, and assists players within their Academy, representing WYD International with fairness, guidance, and teamwork.

How to Become a Game Coach

Fill out the application form.

Applications are evaluated carefully. Selected applicants will be invited for an in-game interview with a GM.

Shift Mechanics

Each Game Coach acts as a Sub-Leader of their Academy and is expected to be online during 2–4 hour daily shifts.

  • First Hour: Recruitment, chat assistance, and player guidance.
  • Following 1–3 Hours: Conduct Water Sessions with Academy members.

  • Daily Top-Up: Game Coach accounts are restocked up to 50,000,000 Gold, 90 Water Scrolls (A/M/N), 6 NMA, 120 Shouts, 50 MVP Buffs, 50 Exp Buff 15 minutes, 4 EXP Boxes and 1 Master Jewel. If there are leftovers, they are filled back up to these maximums each day.
  • Recruitment gold usage: 4,000,000 Gold per recruit

Game Coaches must submit recruitment reports listing newly recruited players. Recruitment Report through the Discord Game Coach channels

Note: Missing even one shift disqualifies a coach from the Perfect Attendance Bonus.

Guidelines for Game Coaches

  1. Receive 90 Water Scrolls (A/M/N) and 6 Nightmare A scrolls daily for training sessions.
  2. Focus on players Level 200–400 Mortal/GOD or 1–200 Celestial.
  3. No AFK during shifts.
  4. Event/Academy items cannot be traded, sold, or used personally.
  5. Relog before the shift begins.
  6. Upload a daily screenshot of the water party with all members and timestamp.
  7. Use scrolls only within shift hours.

Graduation Reward Request: Game Coaches are required to create a Discord support ticket and request the graduation reward on behalf of players who have achieved GOD Lv. 400.
